call of duty 3 offline?
Hey guys I'm new here and would like to know if anyone has news about Call of Duty 3. I have a Brazilian Forum of ps2 and many people saying that the game have problems when connecting: the game is not connecting to the network
if anyone knows of something I thank

Well CoDs on PS3, which are probably demonware based, went down a few days ago, and Sony said the servers were down. They also had connection errors as well. Maybe they pulled 3 off while they were at it.

I just tried signing in, but my game kept freezing during the 'Connecting to network...' dialogue. It looks like Activision finally pulled the plug folks.

Re: call of duty 3 offline?
It might not be down forever. Cod4 and W@W for ps3 are down right now and it is due to connectivity issues with Activision's East Coast servers. Hopefully it is just temporary.
Hopefully this is why ---> https://support.activision.com/articles ... earch&pn=1
*EDIT: It has to be the servers for PS2 and PS3. The Status for the Black Ops servers on PS3 is a 1 which means they are down: http://www.callofduty.com/blackops/status
Pretty much every CoD is down right now: http://www.digitalspy.com/gaming/news/a ... sandy.html

I didn't know other CoD games were experiencing issues. I guess we'll have to wait and try again once the servers are operational.21SkAt3r21 wrote:It might not be down forever. Re: call of duty 3 offline?
The outage, which affected CoD titles on the PS2 and PS3, was due to Hurricane Sandy back in late October. Call of Duty 3 is back online for both Playstation consoles.
