Problem to join a game CoD3

I regularly have problems joining a session on CoD 3...
Of the kind : "Failed to connect to all players" or "Failed to connect to the host of the party"
What is the port to open to improve the connection to the server?
I looked in the game manual, but nothing about it.

Set IP of your console in DMZ setting in your router.
