Mortal Kombat Deception - No player stats

I'm probably going to sound really ignorant here, but does anyone know why on MK Deception or Armageddon that it doesn't keep track of player records? Like the win and loss count? Or disconnects?
I am grateful that we are still able to play these two games online, but this struck me as odd.
