ColdBird's .hack//frägment server is closed

ColdBird and his team, who revived this title 2 year ago decided to close the server down, mostly because of the cheaters and glitchers that caused the community to fail.
But it isn't the end, a new server is running now and you can play. You will need the latest version of the game from ColdBird(8.13) and some patch files from the new server. And that also means that no new builds, since the new server owner will just keep it live, but won't do anything with the client. More about new server: https://secure.dothackers.org/netslum/

Thank you for the update! Too bad that Coldbird server is closed due to some cheaters :(

I will update the game still playable online list with the new adress for the patch.

Too bad he deleted the github project, too. Just shows that even open sourcing a private server doesn't help to keep a project alive or push further. Sad times ...
Mhm, my sources are from 2014, way too old :D
