The problem is that the server is is offline now. The packet captures are really only useful when it's connecting already because you can see how the server responds to the game. Another issue is that later games use encryption more often so you would have needed to bypass it somehow before the server went down. Gamespy has been opened up from other people and tribes is pretty much encrypted.

Hi Viscosity, could you send me the three IP addresses that your DNS points to for the DNAS server? (the US, EU, JP gate servers)

I have several PS2 Battlefront1/2 players that want to get going again.
