Good topic idea. I stickied this.

Yea many games don't let players from PAL and North America play online together.

I intend too, but have been busy lately. Maybe I should setup something so you can enter your Console Region in your profile. I could make it so it shows up next to your user name when you post.

I don't know where you got that information, but I played TSFP together with slacker. So PAL players can play together with NTSC players ...

All of the THPS games are cross region compatible online I'm pretty sure because I play with people from Europe and South America online (on Snipe's/Bobz sevrers) sometimes.

With a simple change to the server config file in Star Wars: Battlefront II it is now possible to play cross-region.
Go to your server/remote manager.
Go to Player menu.
Right Click and select Edit Player Menu (A notepad should come up)
Type in these three lines exactly as written:

Region>North America"/netregion NA"|cmd
Region>Europe"/netregion EUR"|cmd
Region>Japan"/netregion JA"|cmd

Save it
Than go to the player menu again, right click, and u should see a tab for 'Region', with 3 choices.
Click the NA one to change the server to the USA
Click the EUR one to change it to Europe
Click the JA one to change it to Japan

When you change the server to a different region, it wont show up on your server list. The best way to know if it worked is if you see American players joining your server. So I guess the best way to do it is if you coordinate with myself or other American players while you are trying to work the mod.

The ping difference sucks, I know, but I think we can work through it lol.....High pings hurt every player in the server, not just the player who has the high Ping.

freak300 and I were able to confirm that Urban Chaos: Riot Response is NOT cross-region compatible.

EDIT: Apparently I spoke too soon regarding cross-region compatibility for Urban Chaos. freak300 told me he was using the NTSC-U version yesterday instead of the PAL version. We tested cross-region compatibility again today after freak300 confirmed he was using the PAL version of the game. We were able to see each other on GameSpy, but were unable to play a round.
