I wonder if all those changes in the patch affect the LAN mode of the game too?

Dunno. I haven't had a look. There's a big zdb file, which I assume is some sort of database file. Do you have any experience reading those?

Not really but if you could upload the save file to me then I can take a look at it. Your like the only person on the internet that knows about this and can upload the patch.

Plus there is a piece of software that lets you change the product ID of save. That might make it work.

I just copied the contents of the patch onto a USB stick, so it wouldn't likely work for you if I uploaded it. Do you know of a good way to offload it and still preserve that magical quality that makes a group of files a memcard save? There used to be a program called ulaunchelf that had a special copy that could preserve those properties.

I'm going to take a look at my friend's patch and compare it to mine. If there is a difference, then I'll know where to look. If there is no difference, then it must be in some file property or flag.

Well. I hate to deliver bad news, but I did a comparison between my SWB patch and my friend's. I was hoping that the difference would be some small thing that could be changed so that the patch could be updated for other consoles. The main piece of this patch is a 1.8 Megabyte file named "SLUS_208.98.zdb". This file differs redically, almost completely, between our two consoles. I'm going to try to contact Lucasarts to see if they could lend a hand, but I truly doubt they will. Nonetheless, SWB still works fine without the patch, but it would have been nice.

Can you tell me exactly what files make up the battlefront patch? I may be able to get a clean unencrypted copy of SLUS_208.98.zdb. Could you put a patch together if you had that file?
