XIII servers down

The servers for XIII are down. Don't know if it's permanent or not

Are the other Ubisoft games still online? If I have time, I'll check Chaos Theory at some point.

Might be down forever, apparently Jungle Storm got shut down too.

Yea jungle storm went down for good when ubsifoft messed with their forums a few months back. Maybe it killed Xiii too. When I get my ps2 setup Ill have to try connecting to xiii. Do you remember the exact error coder or message the game gave you wawowe?

external network device not found. could not access external network device... something like that

XIII was still up, for a while at least, after grjs went down

It seems like every Ubisoft game for the ps2 has its online services terminated.
Sad day...

Well I sent ubisoft a message through their contact page about this, asking whether they had indeed terminated the online modes of all their PS2 titles. Last time when I asked them about Jungle Storm they responded pretty quickly, so probably in a few days time we will know for sure what the situation is.

Here is what I said to them exactly:

"Have all online Ubisoft Playstation 2 games gone offline permanently? Recently myself and many other have been unable to login to the online multiplayer of several Ubisoft PS2 online titles like Xiii and Splinter Cell Chaos theory. Before this Ghost Recon Jungle Storm's online multiplayer went offline as well. We have guessed that maybe all PS2 online Ubisoft titles have been take offline recently, but it would be helpful if we could have an actual confirmation of whether this is true or not. "

I personally hate Ubisoft, and don't own any of their PS2 online games. I generally try to avoid the publisher.

Anyways, I still hope their servers aren't terminated, there were a few popular Ubisoft titles among this community.
