PS3 online Wi-fi for ps2 games?

ok so im about to sell off a few things including a ps2 with network and games for a 80 gig with 4usb ps3
question is it possible to play ps2 games with wifi and no cord?

Yes sir it is (if it has ps2 compatibility n an 80gb does). Just be sure to keep a game with a Newtork Configuration Utility or your Network start-up disc because you do need to make connection settings on your ps3's virtual ps2 mem card that ps2 games can read. Just set it up like any other connection for ps2 and instead of using an ethernet it will connect using your ps3's wireless settings. I used my 60gb ps3's Wireless connection to play ps2 online for years and then it finally got YLOD this year and i bought an ethernet adapter for my ps2.
