Can I play onlube games with hacked ps2. I am asking because I am wondering what to buy original PS2 or hacked. One of my friends play online with PS3 and his console is not getting ban and a lot more people do this and I was wondering can I do this with PS2.

The ps2 is nothing like the ps3. You can softmod any ps2 accept for the very last generations of slims made in like 2009/2010. You can hardmod any version with a modchip. Also you won't get banned for using backups but some games do have a check that verifies the game is a legit copy which can easily be mitigated.
