Awesome! Thank you you realy did something amazing!

I already connected to your server with 4 different games. I hope tto ry more games in the next few days!

I really encourage everybody to do it! It's easy and fast to set inputs! The more data we will send, the more it will be helpfull to replace the actual DNAS servers by this custom one!

I hope the best for you The_fog aka No23!

The main game everyone wants back up and running online for the ps2 is bf2. I would like anyone to connect to anyone online on that game and actually play a couple of games would be great news for a lot of people. I don't think that game will be playable online ever again.

Cool, ill get going on this. Is it okay if the game cant connect to the server (gamespy for instance since that needs to be redirected) but can still pass DNAS?

are you just logging DNS queries or TCP packets as well?

Absolutely! This is not about creating or redirecting to private servers (yet). It's only about getting the needed packets for DNAS. The server doesn't redirect your console to any gameserver. This can be done at a later point.

I'm logging only TCP packets. A usual DNAS test is done with 2 connections, sometimes 3 are needed. That's why you see multiple "*_query" packets for one game.

The first step is always passing DNAS. And the Battlefield games aren't in the list yet, give it a go!

Also, even if a game is already in the list for a specific region, we still need it for the other regions aswell.

Added a few

Code: Select all

ToCA Race Driver 3
Call of Duty 3
Pro Evolution Soccer 6
Battlefield 2 Modern Combat
Urban Chaos Riot Response
Call of Duty 2 Big Red One CE
SOCOM II (-106)
Cold Winter (Console crashes)
TimeSplitters Future Perfect
Metal Gear Online (-103)
Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix
FlatOut 2
About Battlefield 2, all that is needed is a dedicated server software, someone could mod the PC version of the server as PS2 can see the server, but can't join.

I just added a few games (mostly from EA).

I hope to add more tomorrow or in the next few days!

Excellent! The list is growing and the captures look very promising. Thank you all for participating!
I updated the gamelist, now it's easier to see what is still missing.

There's at least one game I really need in the collection: Monster Hunter (US)
Also, besides the games I added, we're missing a good amount of games from the JP region.

If Monster Hunter (US) is not done by tomorrow, I will try to see if I can do that.

As for japanese games, do you have some titles in mind ?

The problem with getting the japenese games is that most of us would need to find copies of it (not too hard if you have a modded system) and then you need to the DNAS ID to patch it. I'm not sure if there is a list of ID's for that region like there is for ntsc.

I did add a bunch of games last night. Still have a few left to go from the games that I have on me. I'm trying to get all those random gamespy games that most people don't care about.
