thank god i have a regular 4:3 aspect screen, cause i cannot stand wide screen, unless I'm using it for movies., like i had said my TV has a 16:9 enhancement mode for movies and content with 16:9 aspect ratio to maximize the wide screen content resolution. this is my new tv i just got this last saturday- http://mygreensborough.com/cgi-bin/VPIC.CGI?i=811
