List of PS2 Game Packs or Collections

Post by lazyhoboguy »

There are many game collections or packs released for the Playstation 2 where publishers stick 2 or 3 previously released PS2 games into one cheaper package for you to buy. These are pretty great since they allow people who haven't played a game series to pick up new copies of games for a cheap price.

Thought then this thread could be for listing and discussing these type of Playstation 2 game collections. I can add any game collections you guys mention into the first post here so we can get a list of sorts going.

So Far I know about these:

Call of Duty Legacy (Call of Duty:Finest Hour and Call of Duty 2: Big Red One)
Call of Duty: Trilogy [EUROPE ONLY] (Call of Duty:Finest Hour, Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, and Call of Duty 3)
Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories & Vice City Stories 2 Pack (Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories)
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy (Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas)
Hitman Trilogy (Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money)
Medal of Honor Collection (Medal of Honor: Frontline, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, and Medal of Honor: European Assault)
Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection (Metal Gear Solid [ps1 game], Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence)
Mortal Kombat Kollection (Mortal Kombat: Deception, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, Mortal Combat: Armageddon)
Namco Classic Fighter Collection (Tekken Tag Tournament, Soul Calibur 2, and Tekken 4)
Onimusha Essentials (Onimusha: Warlords, Onimusha: Samurai Destiny, and Onimusha: Demon Seige)
Spongebob Square Pants Happy Squared Double Pack (Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie and Spongebob Squarepants: The Battle for Bikini Bottom)

I noticed you missed the Namco Classic Fighter Collection (http://www.amazon.com/Namco-Classic-Fig ... B001DM3Q64), which included Tekken Tag Tournament, Tekken 4 and Soul Calibur II.

Nice, I had never heard of that collection. I also just saw the "Mortal Kombat Kollection" on that page on amazon.

This game does not fit the description that lazyhoboguy outlined in the beginning of the first post.

The Collector's Edition is only a special edition of THAW. It is not a collection of 2 or more PS2 games, which is what this thread is for.

Heh, thanks for trying icebears4ever but like Mytho said this thread is for game packs where publishers stick 2 of 3 games together in a pack. Collector's editions of games are different.

The "Mortal Kombat Kollection" is looking pretty tempting to me now that Nosferatu informed me that Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks is a beat-em up style game.

Never knew there was a CoD Trilogy in Europe. We only got the first two games in a bundle here in the US, for whatever reason.
