After quite a bit of tweaking by FreddY, Favrenation and CHC, the following Midway games are now back online for PS2!

Blitz: The League
NBA Ballers
NBA Ballers: Phenom
MLB SlugFest: Loaded
Mortal Kombat: Deception

How is this possible?
The online servers for all of these games remain online, maintained by GameSpy. Somewhere along the line, it seems that Midway had GameSpy remove in-game lobby rooms/chat services for all of their online games, which are required for online play. What we have done is restored these peer chat services for all of these games so that players are seamlessly able to connect to them online!

(NOTE: NFL Blitz Pro & NHL Hitz Pro are not able to be resurrected because they have been discontinued via DNAS)

In order to play online, just set your Primary DNS Server in your PS2 Network Configuration to:

72.229.137.212
(BobzEnt.info DNS 2 hosted by Bobz. The DNS server number occasionally changes, so if you are having trouble please check BobzEnt.info and compare DNS 2 to what you have saved on your memory card)
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

If you have this game and would like to schedule a time to play, reply to this thread or post a topic over in the Game Scheduling section.

Be sure to spread the word.

Special thanks to FreddY, Favrenation and CHC for re-enabling online play for Midway online games for PS2.

Blitz: The League brings you more Blitz-style play, but with more content and harder hits. The League includes on-field injuries, ranging from snapping bones to bloody, career-ending hits. In addition to traditional multiplayer, you can also play the no-holds-barred style of Blitz football online.

For those that don't own it, Blitz: The League is $2.99 used at GameStop.

It's all about the chromed-out cars, jewelry, ladies, tattoos, and jets in NBA Ballers, the basketball game that highlights both the one-on-one confrontation and the glamorous lifestyle of NBA superstars. Choose from current and legendary NBA players, such as Tracy McGrady, Chris Webber, Magic Johnson, and Wilt Chamberlain, and face-off in some lavish player home courts. Although the game focuses on the one-on-one experience, you can also play in one-on-three and special-rules matches. After the tournaments, spend your winnings on anything from licensed cars to expensive mansions.

For those that don't own it, NBA Ballers is $0.99 used at GameStop.
