ATV Offroad Fury 4 is back!

    Post by Mytho »

Hey everyone. Just wanted to announce that ATV Offroad Fury 4 is confirmed to be working with XBSlink. I had previously tried to tunnel this game years ago, but was unable to do so due to a freezing error.

lazy and I tried tunneling this game over XBSlink a few days ago and were met with success. We played for over an hour and neither one of us reported any issues. It was great to see ATV 4 running over the internet once again.

We are planning to run some tests with Xlink again when our schedules permit to determine if Xlink is not compatible with the game.

Yea I had a blast playing this and it ran great over XBSlink. We did not test it on XLink Kai yet, as mytho's xlink kai was acting up that night so there was no point.

Hopefully it works over Xlink Kai as well. It is a great game and the fact that it has LAN racer bots is pretty awesome. It also lets you play split screen through the LAN mode.

Mytho, IronPimp, and I tested ATV Offroad Fury 4 on XLink Kai tonight and we figured out how to get it working.

An automatically setup network configuration on your playstation 2 memory card will not work for playing this game through XLink kai. You need to use a special manual network configuration. You use the same one that is needed to play Jak X Combat Racing through Xlink Kai.

Click here to see the guide on how to setup this special network configuration

When did they go offline? I played like a year and a half ago online but nobody was really playing. They had these forums though that some people were hanging around in and posting frequently but not actually playing the game lol
