Just wanted to let everyone know that as of this morning about 20 minutes ago I am still able to connect to BFMC2 and Area51 on BFMC2 I played A Game with 4 people so I know it's not just me so those 2 games are still alive and kicking for at least today I can also confirm flatout is dead :( does it have lan I am not sure ? are area 51 and BFMC2 the only ones left I do not have a lot of the other games to check

I'll do some packet logging on these two games before gamespy shut down the servers. These two FPS games are the best online for PS2, imo.

Another Update as of 2 Mins ago I am still able to connect to Area 51 I have not checked BFMC2 again yet

Oh just wondering because the guy who hosts that server often leaves it on for like a week :D So when I see that server offline (using the gamespy statues page) I'll check the game to see if it's offline...

Make an attempt to test out any of the games taken down using my DNS to connect. There is a decent chance they can work on the spot. Post back whether or not they are working.

Also, someone should definitely packet log bfmc as the game isn't all through gamespy and other things would have to be manipulated if it does go down.

Ok I have managed to make a packet sniffer cable to recieve incoming and outcoming data. I'll try to document carefully so its easy to know whats going on in different stages.

Stay tuned I'll have to learn abit how the Wireshark work etc...

Star Wars Battlefront - Working!
Rogue Trooper - Working!
Robotech Invasion - Working!
Fight Club - Offline (The GameSpy servers are temporarily unavailable... please try again later.)
The Fast and the Furious - Working!
TOCA Race Driver 2 - Offline (Race Driver 2 services are no longer available)
Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior - Working!

All Vivendi Universal games have been pulled, as Vivendi left the video game business and sold their assets to Activision.
