tool8, if you don't have a master list showing you should put a room or something up so there's something to see to let people know it's working

if not, i don't see a reason to change the dns address

the other dns address works just fine so I'm curious, what are you trying to do? what good will it do to have another dns address for tribes
there's like three addresses right now

Well sure I can put up a fake server named "master list".
I have rewritten the program and it seems it works more stable than the OC's one. I will also make a webpage where it shows if someone has created a game it will be displayed there.

So stay tuned, nothing fancy right now about it just try it out if you guys want to. I'll let you know when webpage is up and running...

"fake server" is now in the lobby too, displaying how many games master list have registered.

oc's and bobz dns has been good probably because it's us based

did you know when you are in a room with other players online that if you hold down the select button and press R2 your ping speed comes up in the bottom corner of the screen?

now the thing is you said your friend couldn't even see the master list or anyone hosting so can he at least see your room now and enter a room that would be one or two more players that had a problem joining

and in time are you going to put up a dedicated server room, so there's a room to play in when people don't want to host?
