Is midnight club avaliable regularly or do I have to use xlink ?

I was able to log onto GameSpy online a few days ago, but found no one playing.

I have Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix. Are MC3 and MC3: DER compatible?

I'm not completely sure. If I remember correctly there is an option to set an online game as "DUB Edition" (original) or "Remix". If you were to have the original, you won't be able to detect and access online "Remix" games. I have Remix, just to let you guys know.
