Are you Playing with a Hard Drive and use OPL to launch your game? This error happens with some games on HDD (sniper Elite, for example).
Use USB instead

If you have a SCPH-50000 console or older, make sure the network adapter is properly attached to console.

If you are using Open PS2 Loader to load games off a shared network folder (SMB), i'm sorry but this will prevent you from playing online as the network adapter is in use by OPL and it is hidden from games. Use USB or HDD loading methods.

Are you using their dns because that dns does not forward to the new DNAS server. I think christan's dns works but I can't confirm.

Christians DNS gets past the DNAS but then you get a servers temporarily unavailable error

Is there a Protestants DNS too?

I just tested Christian's DNS and it works as it authenticates the DNAS, however I'm at the point where I'm not able to create a new GameSpy ID account and can not download the Terms Agreement. A little while back when there was no problems with the DNAS servers I was able to download the GameSpy's terms of agreement through http://bobzent.info that is currently down. I hope to see this back up and working because I really miss playing BF2:MC on PS2!

I was able to do this (and create an account) when DNAS was up but it appears christian's DNS doesn't support BF2MC and bobzent hasn't implemented the DNAS workaround yet, so I'm afraid you'll have to wait until bobz adds the DNAS workaround.

US and European servers for Outbreak are dead, only Japanese version was brought back in 2013. Reviving US and Eu versions not worth, since they are inferior to JAP versions.
