SOCOM, Amplitude, and/or SF:TOS on the week of July 7th

I expect to be able to play one (or more) of the games mentioned in the title during this upcoming week, including the upcoming weekend. I'm not sure what my hours of availability will be, but please indicate if you intend to play, and which day(/s) and times are good for you.

I have Omega Strain on PS3 is it still possible to play online with PS2 users. I know about the private server thing.

If you are using a US retail game disc (not the PAL version) you will be able to use your PS3 (if it is backwards compatible with PS2 games) and connect online. If you are using the downloaded PSN version of the game you will not be able to play online.

Although I should mention that I also expect to be available during weekdays, (except for Thursday.) If anyone wants to play any of those games with me tonight, please tell me via PM and/or site chat.

I dont know what my availability will be for video games this weekend, but if I have some free time Id like to play some Amplitude sometime.

I tried to play Omega Strain last night but it kept disconnecting me from the lobby after the DNAS screen. Is Bobz server having issues?

Well, even if his DNS server did go down again, we could just try using one of FreddY's DNS servers. I have the address saved, but I'm not sure if FreddY would want me to post the address in this topic, as it is publicly viewable. If we play tonight, I'll send it to you via site chat.

Masquarr and I are on Amplitude right now playing. We had to use Freddy's dns server, which he has temporarily turned on again until BObz's is back online. Bobz server is down again. Freddy's dns server is listed here:

I updated the original post. I'd really like to get a chance to play these games, especially Syphon Filter: TOS.
