i have personally tested each one and although i might be the only one in each game nba 2k12 has a population of about 10 players
NHL 2K8.9.10
MLB 2K8.9.10.11
NBA 2K8/9/10/11/12
THE BIGS
i know top spin is hosted by gamespy i have yet to test that one
world poker tour also is hosted by them and works

Nice idea for a topic man. It's nice to know NBA 2K12 has people to play with. Has anyone played with any other person on the Poker games at all?

Top Spin and World Poker Tour are both still online, hosted by GameSpy. They were only published by 2K Sports.
Can you confirm if College Hoops 2K8 for PS2 is still online?

yes College Hoops 2K8 still online.I started it recently, online works but players aren't present
