Re: SOCOM, Amplitude, and/or SF:TOS on the week of July 7th
I updated the original post. I'd really like to get a chance to play these games, especially Syphon Filter: TOS.

Re: SOCOM, Amplitude, and/or SF:TOS on the weekend of June 3
That's odd, because Bobz said that he got the server back up about two days ago: http://www.ps2onlinegaming.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1071#p6163 Well, even if his DNS server did go down again, we could just try using one of FreddY's DNS servers. I have the address saved, but I'm not sure if Fre...

Re: Bobz1993
That's a real bummer. A few of my friends were trying to get online in Syphon Filter: TOS using your server, but weren't able to reach the lobby. I was able to get online, using my own router's built-in DNS server, but they weren't able to reach it! I tried forwarding ports 53 TCP and UDP to my rout...

Although I should mention that I also expect to be available during weekdays, (except for Thursday.) If anyone wants to play any of those games with me tonight, please tell me via PM and/or site chat.

SOCOM, Amplitude, and/or SF:TOS on the week of July 7th
I expect to be able to play one (or more) of the games mentioned in the title during this upcoming week, including the upcoming weekend. I'm not sure what my hours of availability will be, but please indicate if you intend to play, and which day(/s) and times are good for you.

Re: SOCOM servers to be terminated 8/31/12
Lucasarts terminated support for not only the patch server to SWBF, but support for the master lists for both games. A workaround does exist though; it involves using DNS redirection . I contacted lordnikon about replicating the SOCOM master list last summer, and he said that he isn't very intereste...

Re: Two doubts about Everquest and Champions of Norrath
Yes, unfortunately EQOA and EQOA: Frontiers have been terminated: http://www.ps2onlinegaming.com/forum/vi ... f=10&t=949 . I don't know about Champions of Norrath: Realms of Everquest or Champions: Return to Arms, though.

Re: Battlefield 2: Modern Combat Account Creation Back Onlin
FreddY told me the URL via IRC, but for some reason he hasn't been responding to this topic. It was something like: easports.com/battlefield2/ . There were various .txt files in that directory.

Re: Battlefield 2: Modern Combat Account Creation Back Onlin
I'm fairly certain that he used NTSC. Do you have any experience with logging packets? If so, could you do a test for us, to see which URLs the German version attempts to visit, so we know which entries to put into a DNS server?

Rather than setting the secondary DNS to 0.0.0.0, try setting it to the IP Address of a "normal" DNS server. Your home network is most likely setup to use 192.168.1.1 as a DNS server, so try that. Or, you could set the secondary DNS to 8.8.8.8, which is one of Google's DNS server addresses.
