PS2 USB Headset Dilemma - Which Ones Work!??

Post by LightsOut »

I have been trying to find a headset that is compatible with the PS2 to use while playing BFMC, COD3, etc… I had a logitech several years ago that worked great but have since moved and who knows what ever happened… anyhow I tried a gigaware usb headset with no luck (although it does light up, showing on and connected). I researched online and found plenty of people saying if its usb then it will work and also found just as many saying it has to be a particular brand, but rarely did I find people agreeing on which brands actually work. I figured the most efficient route would be GameStop… I went there and purchased a “PS2 USB Headset” made by RocketFish, for less than $10! I got home plugged her in and after lighting up for about .02 seconds it shuts itself off … no bueno  I checked it with my pc and the headset works fine.

Any suggestions??? (Preferably definitive ones :P )

I'm not sure about which ones work but I always went by whatever was USB haha. The headset I use came with SOCOM 2 and that's just a normal PS2 USB headset. So, I don't know just keep searching for PS2 USB Headsets if possible :D

Area 51 is the best... Got it for £1.50 (around 2.50 dollars and 1.90 euros) :D
