I haven't tried yet, and I just realised that it is XcristihanX DNS!
May be he can give us some information on how he could revive this game server and may be Battlefield 2 could be playble again online!

with battlefield 2 it's different an outsourced company has the files to create the room

I tested it today. No one was online but I could see the main room! Also I thought I was screwed becasue I couldn't remember my EA account info but you can create a fake one. I know it's a fake one because when you try to sign in online with the created account at EA it doesn't exist. So don't worry if you can't remember your login just create a new one. This is awesome, Thank You Cristian!

I Just tested and I connected to the server. I could see my nickname on the lobby page.
You can create an accourt in the game.

the bf2 only missing the files of the rooms I believe that the rest is already all right if the company in which to release the files I believe that xchristianx can make the game come back to work the company in question is the MULTIPLAY GAME SEVERS

When I connected, we were 5 in the lobby. I couldn't run a race because everytime players didn't respond to my challenge request or got firewall error. Some others got firewall error
I Will try to dmz my ps2 on my router next time

There were at one point 8 people online when I joined today. I played three games and it works perfectly with no disconnections.
