PS2 sold 1.4 million consoles from april to june 2011

The release covers the three months between April and June this year. In that time, the PS3 sold 1.8 million units (down from 2.4 million last year), the PSP sold 1.8 million (up from 1.2 million) and the old warhorse, the PS2, sold 1.4 million, only slightly down from the 1.6 million this time last year.

Pretty impressive for such an old console. I hope the sales stay up so they keep producing new playstation 2 consoles for awhile.

Yeah i know some people who just re buy them because they sold them for a ps3 that doesn't play ps2 games. It is also a decent dvd player with dts and progressive scan. The main thing is its freaking tiny. Compare it to any of the consoles even the wii this generation and the ps2 is so tiny but it pack a powerful punch lol.

my ps2 has cockraoches inside.it well its NOT really mine but still thats nasty the dude i borrowed it from doesnt know how to take care of anything.He also just bought a ps3 thats gonna end up with 3x more cockroaches.
