its still possible! its legitimately on my bucket list.lazyhoboguy wrote:Well that game does have a LAN mode. And it seems like people tested it on Bob's server and it works still.NoLimits wrote:This is sad news...I'm actually disappointed I never got to experience 2v2 (or higher) Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball online.

Added the recently terminated Eidos Interactive games along with Conflict: Global Terror, Juiced and WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2006 to the Complete List of PS2 GameSpy Terminated Online Servers on Page 4 of this thread.

Re: Breaking News: GameSpy Drops Support of PS2 Activision G
I have previously tested all of these games through OpenSpy (except Rogue Trooper). They all require the use of a GameSpy ID in order to play online.
Until GameSpy ID Account Creation works across all PS2 online games (hosted by GameSpy) on OpenSpy, then these games will not work.
The list of PS2 games that currently do work on OpenSpy (whether they are terminated or not) do not require the use of a GameSpy ID for online play.
There are a few exceptions, though. Such as Area 51, which does not require a GameSpy ID for online play, yet still does not work on OpenSpy. In that case, packets will most likely need to be captured. All of this is covered in my "NEWS / NOTES" post on Page 4 of this thread.

Wanted to let everyone know that noonotthat and myself were able to log in to Marvel: Ultimate Alliance using OpenSpy.
EDIT: I have just concluded testing with noonotthat. We are unable to play Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and X-Men Legends II online. Both games froze up during the intro movies when beginning a new game. We tried both Bobz's and CHC's OpenSpy servers.

So can someone just confirm that Urban Chaos is down forever? Or does it work over OpenSpy?
