This configures your profile so that you automatically subscribe to all topics you post in, which means you will get an email every time someone posts in a topic you have posted in.

-Click on "user control panel" on the top bar of the website.
-Click on "board preferences" over to the left
-Then under "board preferences" click "posting defaults"
-Next, find the option "Notify me upon replies by default:", select yes, then make sure you hit "submit" down below. do not hit reset or it wont save your setting.
