I'm thinking of playing MC2 online this Wednesday, April 18th. Anyone willing to join me, please let me know by either sending me a PM before this Wednesday, or replying in this thread. :D
I'll be playing at 9PM EST/6PM PST

I cant remember if I actually own this or not still heh. Id never played it yet, but may have bought it and left it at my parents house. Either way I couldnt play right now because I am not entirely setup to play ps2 online again yet. Im interested in playing in the future though. If I can't find my copy i'll rebuy it. This game has a LAN mode too so even once the servers go down for it LAN tunneling programs like Xlink Kai will let you play it online.

As long as we'll get to play online at some point, that's alright. ;) I've never really played online, too. I just want to see if this game can play without using Xlink Kai. If I can't create a match using GameSpy's servers, then I'll have to buy another ethernet cable and install the Xlink Kai program onto my computer. :D

Sorry if I wasn't there online. I was having difficulties trying to setup a game (hosting). :( It looks like I'm going to have to use Xlink Kai. (I gotta buy another ethernet cable to connect my PS2 to my PC, correct?)

I'd suggest going to xlink's website and reading through the FAQ link at the top of the page.

If you are using a router you will have to connect your ps2 to the router. You may have to setup port forwarding in your router in order to open up port 30000 to your computer.

Its ok you weren't online

Looks like no one else wanted to play that game on the schedule date either

you would of been the only one wondering if you were even hosting or even online for others to see

and once you found out you were online, no one would of should up anyway,

at least on the date you schedule

hope you get a turn out once you figure out the hosting for your game
