Was it hosted by gamespy?

Nascar thunder 2004 is playable online. It actually has a hidden LAN mode that you can enable with a certain buton combination. You would need to use Xlink kai or xbslink to play over the internet though.

Re: Nascar 2005
There is no online mode for it or if there was it's no longer online. You need to LAN tunnel it. Using a program like xlink kai, it makes your ps2 think that the other xlink kai users are on the local area network.ApeF0x1 wrote:What's the DNS for normal gaming?Viscosity wrote:Nascar thunder 2004 is playable online. Re: Nascar 2005
Do you not understand the difference between playing online with servers and LAN tunneling?

Re: Nascar 2005
As this was an EA game i imagine you have to register an account which is not currently supported by any server i know of. Also i doubt this game was run by gamespy. Check the box and see if anywhere on it it says "powered by gamespy" if it does try openspys dns or qtrackers.
If it doesnt get an xlink kai account and download their software. There is still a ps2 community there (they mainly play socom2 ntsc). Ifyou need any help with xlink just ask
